| Putting up my feet during lunch |
-Difficult people today, a lady was looking for one of an item sold in packs not individually. When I let her know we have packs that are both inexpensive and small in quantity size, she in a sharp voice she was not paying for anything she did not need. She turned and stormed out. I was instantly taken to the hot dog bun scene with Steve Martin in Father of the Bride.
-Was also informed that corporations were no better than the government with all our "policies." And that is what is wrong with the world today.
-Note to self: I love working with the public, oh yeah, and I can't fix stupid.
~I had a conversation today about stupidity and how bothersome it is and how bitter it makes some of us. It's okay to be stupid if you're aware of and acknowledge your stupidity; it's when you're so stupid that you don't realize you're stupid when there's a problem. (Not working with the public does not exclude me from experiencing daily stupidity, which is getting worse by the year.
ReplyDelete~I converted 3 people this winter to wearing knee socks (after how many years of bragging about how great they are to wear)--today I'm wearing Cherry Blossom from sockittome. Love those socks (thanks for introducing me to that brand).
P.S. I'm not trying to dominate your blog. I just don't have enough of anything of interest to have a blog of my own; I do my best in small doses of random comment.
Bex, I just noticed your profile picture. That was my favorite picture from the all day hike. I don't think you are taking over my blog. You are welcome for the sock introduction, they really are the best!
