-I called my grandpa this morning to see how he was feeling and tell him I love him. It was good to hear his voice.
-Bought a vacuum last night and the hunk of junk doesn't properly work so I am returning it!

The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune (day 26)
-So heading into work for the day, but first thought I'd take a walkabout with Lucy first. Stopped in at Starbucks and was delighted to see pistachio guy. For those of you not "in the know," pistachio guy is apparently a downtown Starbucks regular. He has between 3-5 pistachios which he cups in his hands and shakes them 30 times. He the tosses them on the table like dice grabs his coffee takes two drinks. Then he puts his watch up to his ear and listens for about 5 seconds, he then says to his watch "it's just a shame." Following that he picks up the pistachios one by one and begins the ritual all over again.
